Boardwalk Hall (Old Atlantic City Convention Center) First opened in 1929, Boardwalk Hall, or the Old Atlantic City Convention Center, was at one point the largest auditorium in the world that had no interior roof posts or pillars. It is the home of the Miss America Pageant, and contains the largest pipe organ of its kind in the world, with 33,112 pipes.
