The Boardwalk
The Boardwalk, officially declared a street in 1896, ties hotels, theatres, beaches and amusement piers together, the core excitement of Atlantic City. Walk on the boards for refreshments, food, and the essential of Atlantic City shopping, the souvenir. A ride on the rolling chairs is considered by many as a must do.

Boardwalk Hall (Old Atlantic City Convention Center)
First opened in 1929, Boardwalk Hall, or the Old Atlantic City Convention Center, was at one point the largest auditorium in the world that had no interior roof posts or pillars. It is the home of the Miss America Pageant, and contains the largest pipe organ of its kind in the world, with 33,112 pipes. Trade shows and other conventions, as well as special events, are also held here throughout the year.

A huge collection of wondrous as well as weird things are housed in this museum which is situated directly on the Boardwalk. A lock of Washington's hair and a piece of the Berlin wall are just two of the exhibits. The museum is open seven days a week. Seasonal hours are in effect.
